The 7-day NSS Camp at Bhavan Vidyalaya Panchkula came to a heartwarming conclusion on 25th November 2024, with a grand closing ceremony organized by the NSS volunteers.
The event commenced with a soulful bhajan, invoking the blessings of the almighty and expressing gratitude for the successful completion of the camp. This was followed by an enchanting Kathak dance performance by student Mannat from Humanities, adding a cultural touch to the occasion.
A special highlight of the ceremony was the screening of a video that captured the memorable moments and key activities from the past week, showcasing the dedication and enthusiasm of the students.
The Chief Guest, Dr. Arvind Dewadi, District NSS Officer, addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of community service and inspiring the students to adopt the NSS motto, "Not Me, But You". He encouraged them to continue making a positive impact in society through selfless service.
In her address, the school's Principal, Ms. Gulshan Kaur urged the students to remain grateful and reminded them that the true essence of service lies not in grand gestures, but in the small, meaningful acts that collectively bring about significant change. Therefore, the ceremony was officially concluded by the principal declaring the camp closed.
The 7-day NSS camp left a lasting mark on all the participants, reinforcing the spirit of service, unity and humility.
