Mrs. Sonia Juneja, Primary Teacher, Bhavan Vidyalaya Sector 15 Panchkula, a dedicated educator has recently participated in an esteemed international training program Training on “Innovative Approaches to Early Childhood Education and Development” in Israel from 26th May to 7th June, 2024The training was conducted for professionals dealing in early childhood education in Haifa city, Israel organized by MASHAV Israel’s agency for international Development Cooperation in Collaboration with the University of Haifa, Israel. In the training 20 total experts and educators participated from four countries i.e. India, Nepal, Philippines and Israel out of which 3 professionals participated from India The main aim of the training was to share best practices and new methodologies in early childhood education. The scholarship of 10,000 USD each was granted to all the participants for bearing course fee, boarding, lodging, excursion expenses, visa fee etc. by the MASHAV.

The program aimed to enhance the skills and knowledge of participants by introducing them to cutting-edge strategies and evidence-based practices in the field. Topics covered included child-centered learning, inclusive education, technology integration in early childhood classrooms, and the importance of play in learning.

Sonia Juneja's participation in this training underscores her commitment to advancing early childhood education in India. By engaging with global leaders and fellow educators, she has gained invaluable insights that will contribute to the development of more effective educational practices in her community.

The training program in Israel not only provided a platform for professional development but also fostered international collaboration and the exchange of ideas, aiming to improve early childhood education standards globally.
