The much-awaited Mango Mela was celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervour at Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula, on 22 nd July, 2024. The event was a tribute to the king of fruits, showcasing a diverse array of mango-based delights, cultural performances and theme based activities. The Mango Mela was a fun filled fiesta for the learners of Ankuran & Aarohan block, students across Nursery, L.K.G, U.K.G., Grade 1 and 2.
The whole block was transformed into an exhibition platform of diverse varieties of mangoes from different regions. Children adorned themselves in mango themed head gears, bands and crowns. Little bhavanites were dressed in yellow attires and accessories, adding to the vibrant ambiance of the event.
The young ones savoured a wide range of mango-based delicacies, from traditional desserts to innovative fusion cuisine in their tiffin.
The school principal Mrs. Gulshan Kaur stated this festival as a wonderful opportunity for students to learn about the cultural significance of mangoes in our country, while also having fun with their friends and teachers.
