In a heartwarming initiative students of BVP Interact Club of Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula brought joy and smiles to the residents of Akal Old Age Home by celebrating the festival of Raksha Bandhan with them. 16 students, accompanied by two escort teachers Ms. Anita Ranjan and Mr. KanwarPreet Singh, participated in the event, spreading love and warmth among the elderly residents.
The event was filled with emotion as the students tied rakhis on the wrists of the elderly, symbolizing the bond of protection and care. The gesture was reciprocated with blessings, laughter, and heartfelt conversations, making it a memorable day for both the students and the residents.
This celebration is part of Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula’s ongoing efforts to instill values of compassion, empathy, and social responsibility in its students.The school believes in providing opportunities for students to connect with different sections of society, fostering a sense of community and understanding.
