Bhavan Vidyalaya Panchkula played host to a prestigious two-day Training of Trainers (TOT) program under the aegis of CBSE & ISTM, held from Friday, 27th September to Saturday, 28th September. The program brought together some of the most esteemed educators and leaders, both of national and international repute. The resource persons included Dr. Sanjeev Gupta, Deputy Director ISTM; Dr. Ramandeep Kaur, Head, COE CBSE Panchkula Region; Dr. Pratik Ghosh, HOD IHMC Chandigarh; and Mrs. Seema Jerath, Principal, DLF School, Delhi. The event saw an overwhelming response, with participants comprising Principals and Postgraduate Teachers (PGTs) from various prestigious CBSE schools across the region. The opening ceremony was graced by Mr. Shekhar Chandra, Regional Officer, Panchkula, and Mrs. Seema Khakha, Head, COE, Panchkula. The dignitaries were warmly welcomed by Mrs. Gulshan Kaur, Principal of Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula. The program commenced with a formal welcome of the distinguished guests, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, accompanied by the chanting of mantras that infused the atmosphere with a sense of positivity and reverence. This was followed by a soulful rendition of Ma Saraswati Vandana, performed through a mesmerizing dance by the talented students of Bhavan Vidyalaya. Mrs. Seema Khakha, Head, COE, CBSE Panchkula, addressed the gathering and shared insights into CBSE's concerted efforts to cultivate a cadre of skilled trainers who can reach out to educators at the grassroots level, thus ensuring the holistic development of the educational community. Mr. Shekhar Chandra, Regional Officer, CBSE, lauded the efforts of the school in hosting such an impactful event. He stressed the importance of organizing these training programs frequently and reassured participants of CBSE's continued support for such initiatives. The keynote address was delivered by the Chief Resource Person, Dr. Sanjeev Gupta, Deputy Director, ISTM, who provided an overview of the course structure. He assured the participants of an intensive 12-hour training module over the span of two days, covering the nuances of becoming effective trainers. His address set the tone for what would be a deeply engaging and insightful program. The participants were subsequently divided into two batches, and the training sessions commenced, marking the beginning of an enriching journey towards enhancing their skills as educators and trainers.
