SESSION 2023-24

  • Lohri celebrations with Chetna students on 13th January 2023: Students celebrated the Lohriwith Principal ma’am. Few Students performed dance and thoroughly enjoyed the festival. Sweets were distributed to each child.

  • Conducted the Workshop Himalayan Club Volunteers on the use of Paper bags instead of plastic bags: Students were made aware for the use of Paper bags instead of plastic bags. Himalayan Club Volunteers taught them the importance of paper bags likePaper bags are more environment-friendly than plastics bags because they are made for a renewable resource, and biodegrade and can be easily recycled. Students interacted well and enjoyed a lot.

World Health Day was celebrated with Chetna students on 6th April 2023:

  • The World Health Day was celebrated among the Chetnastudents to tell the importance of health. Students are made aware of the prevention of infectious diseases. NSS students took a workshop on menstrual hygiene and problems associated with it. All female students of age above 12 attended the workshop. They learnt about hygiene to be maintained during cycle days. Each girl was given a parcel of sanitary pads.

World book day celebrated with Chetna students on 24th April 2023

Chetna Students were encouraged to read, write and grow. Drawing books and crayons were distributed to each child. The idea of D.E.A.R time - “Drop Everything and Read” was introduced in the class. Students enjoyed learning about World Book Day.

Book Donation drive with Chetna Students

  • With the aim of inculcating love for reading in the minds of young children, a book donation drive was conducted withChetna Students to read and grow. The students were excited to get books and tried reading these with help of students of BVP Change Makers.

Volunteers Taking Care of Academics of Chetna Students

Three students of Class VII (Ankit, Aarav and Mihika) have volunteered to take care of the academics of ChetnaStudents. The Volunteers are regularly providing academic support to the students to empower them with knowledge and skills for their holistic development.

Spreading happiness: Toy Donation Drive withChetna Students

  • To spread and share happiness, BVP Change makers conducted a Toy Donation Drive in which school students donated their used workable toys. These toys were donated to students of Chetna School. The smiles and happiness was so captivating and evident that it automatically brought happiness to all.

Best out of Waste: Workshop conducted on usingAluminium Foil for creative Art Work

To eradicate Aluminium foil from school campus, a new venture of ‘Say No to Aluminium Foil’ is being conducted in school by BVP Change Makers. The collected foil was used to conduct an Art Workshop for students of Chetna School by Ms Vandana Kakkar. She taught students to create new things with old broken things by covering it with aluminium foil. Each one enjoyed learning this new skill. They even learnt how to create oxidized objects using black shoe polish.


Kathak Dance Class conducted by the Volunteers

Naina and Mihika of BVP Change makers took a workshop for Chetna school girls and groomed them with basics of KathakNatyashali. The girls throughly enjoyed learning this dance form and have requested for regular Kathak dance class. The volunteers will be conducting more sessions for the same.


Class of IT been conducted by the volunteers

Dhruv of Class XII and Arav of Class VII of BVP Change Makers conducted basic class of computer and gave insight to the students of Chetna School. These students have been requesting for IT training since long and now the students of BVP Change Makers will be conducting 2 Classes per week in computer lab.

Celebrated Independence Day with a play

  • Bhavan's Chetna Vidyalaya marked Independence Day with a captivating play. Students brought to life the struggles and triumphs of India's journey to freedom. Through powerful performances and patriotic fervour, they paid homage to the nation's heroes. The play instilled a deep sense of pride and patriotism among the students, reinforcing the significance of India's independence and the responsibility to uphold its values. It was a memorable and inspiring celebration.

Amyra’s Birthday was celebrated with Chetna Students

A staff member Ms Shilpi Sharma daughter’s birthday was celebrated with the chetna students, acknowledging her achievements and bright future. It was a moment of pride and encouragement for the young talent. Jaljera’s, Biscuits and Toffees were distributed among students.

  • A staff member Ms Rachita Khurana Son’s birthday was celebrated with the chetna students, acknowledging hir achievements and bright future. It was a moment of pride and encouragement for the young talent. Jaljera’s and Oreo Biscuits were distributed among students.

  • The Art Class Conducted by Chetna Coordinators specifically caters to Chetna students, offering a tailored and enriching artistic experience within the Chetna community. Distributed Bananas by Bhavan Teacher

  • Bhavan Teacher distributed bananas among the Chetna students, creating a moment of joy and healthy indulgence for everyone. The act not only provided a nutritious treat but also symbolized the teacher's dedication to fostering a positive and caring environment within the school community. The students, appreciative of this gesture, enjoyed the bananas while also imbibing the values of sharing and kindness. This thoughtful act further strengthened the bond between Bhavan Teacher and her students at Chetna School.

Bhavan’s Chetna Students Celebrated Diwali with BOSA

  • Bhavan's Chetna students celebrated Diwali with enthusiasm and warmth alongside the Bhavan Old Students Association (BOSA). Diwali diyas, blankets, crackers and candles adorned every corner, illuminating the joyous faces of students and alumni alike. As part of the celebration, there was a collective effort to distribute sweets, symbolizing the spirit of sharing and togetherness. The Diwali celebration with BOSA not only brought together different generations of Bhavan's Chetna students but also fostered a sense of community, shared heritage.

Workshop Conducted by Bhavan Art Teacher Vanadana Kakkar

  • Bhavan's accomplished art teacher, Vandana Kakkar, recently conducted an inspiring workshop that delved into the intricate world of art. Attended the Workshop of Rhythm and Breath for Mindtfulness and Story telling Session on the Occasion of Kulwant Singh Literary Fest

  • Chetna students had the privilege of participating in a transformative workshop on "Rhythm and Breath for Mindfulness" and a captivating Storytelling Session, hosted as part of the Kulwant Singh Literary Fest 2023. Guided by expert facilitators, the workshop aimed to instill a sense of mindfulness and creativity in the young minds of Chetna School.The combination of mindfulness practices and storytelling made the workshop a holistic and enriching experience for Chetna students, aligning perfectly with the spirit of the Kulwant Singh Literary Fest 2023.
