Bhavan’s Chetna Vidyalaya organised an art competition

  • An art competition was organized at Bhavan's Chetna Vidyalaya to celebrate the auspicious occasion of Basant Panchami. The event aimed to encourage artistic expression among students and foster a spirit of creativity and cultural celebration. Prize distribution ceremony was held to acknowledge the outstanding efforts and talents of the participants. The winners were selected based on creativity, originality, and adherence to the theme of Basant Panchami.Principal Gulshan Kaur graced the occasion and extended her warm congratulations to all the participants. She commended the students for their exemplary creativity and encouraged them to continue nurturing their artistic talents. Principal Kaur emphasized the importance of such events in promoting holistic development among students and fostering a culture of creativity and expression within the school community.

  • Session began for students of Chetna group from 1 st April 2024 with 15 students. Around 15 students who joined the Vidyalaya were from different age groups. Most of the students who are regular in coming to the school have gone to their respective villages and hence the strength was low. However, by end of April month, the strength rose to 25 students.
  • Donation by staff members: Few staff members are regular in giving their humble donations /contributions for these students so that their basic requirements of stationery are met. Two staff members- Ms. Alpana and Ms. Sonia Sood donated refreshments on their ward’s birthdays. Ms. Sonia Sood has also donated drawing books and pencils for these students which is kept in stock and is given as and when the need arises.
  • Volunteers from BVP Interact Club: Four Students of Class VIII- Mihika Sharma, Arav Gambhir, Ankit Singla and Sanvi Sood who are part of BVP Interact club have undertaken teaching and helping students for 1 hour every day. They take up the younger students and guiding them for language skills like reading and writing the correct formations. For the senior group they take up IT skills by training them basic skills of computer –word document on the laptop which was donated by one of the staff member.
  • Dace workshop by Volunteers of BVP Interact club: Mihika Sharma and Sanvi Sood took a dance workshop of all the students teaching them basic steps and mudras of Kathak. Each student enjoyed and learnt the skills happily.
  • Chetna Students learns Self-Defence: Mr. Sachin, the self-defense instructor at Bhavan Vidyalaya Panchkula, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the training program. The self-defense training program for the Chetna students is structured to cover various aspects of personal safety and defense tactics. The program includes:

    1. Basic Techniques: Fundamental self-defense moves such as blocks, strikes, and escape techniques.
    2. Situational Awareness: Training students to be aware of their surroundings and identify potential threats.
    3. Physical Conditioning: Exercises to improve strength, agility, and overall fitness.
    4. Mental Preparedness: Building confidence and teaching students to stay calm and make quick decisions during confrontations.

  • Nikunj’s Birthday Celebration at Bhavan Chetna Vidyalaya: Nikunj celebrated his birthday in a heartfelt manner by sharing his joy with the students of Bhavan Chetna Vidyalaya. To mark the occasion, he distributed samosas among the children, bringing smiles to their faces. The students expressed their gratitude and appreciation for his kind gesture. The celebration reflected the values of compassion and generosity, reinforcing the spirit of community and togetherness. Such acts of kindness inspire others to spread happiness and make a difference in the lives of those around them.

  • ‘Adhira’ – A Rotary Club Initiative for Bhavan Chetna Vidyalaya:- The Rotary Club of SD College, through its event ‘Adhira’, took a commendable initiative to empower the students of Bhavan Chetna Vidyalaya by organizing a self-defence training session. An experienced coach conducted the session, equipping students with essential self-defence techniques to enhance their confidence and safety. This initiative aimed to in still a sense of self-reliance among the students, ensuring they are prepared to handle challenging situations. The event was met with enthusiasm, and the students actively participated, making it a meaningful and impactful experience.

  • Ms. Priya’s Birthday Celebration at Bhavan Chetna Vidyalaya:- Ms. Priya celebrated her birthday in a heart-warming way by spending it with the students of Bhavan Chetna Vidyalaya. She cut a cake with them, sharing moments of joy and togetherness. To make the occasion even more special, she distributed samosas among the students, who were delighted by her kind gesture. The celebration created an atmosphere of happiness and gratitude, reinforcing the values of compassion and sharing. The students expressed their appreciation, making it a truly memorable day for everyone involved.

  • Lohri Celebration at Chetna Vidyalaya, Panchkula: The students of Chetna Vidyalaya, Panchkula, joyfully celebrated the festival of Lohri with Madam Principal and the entire staff. The event was marked by traditional festivities, including the lighting of the Lohri bonfire, singing folk songs, and dancing to the beats of dhol.The students enthusiastically participated in the celebrations, expressing their happiness and gratitude. Madam Principal and the staff joined in, making the occasion even more special. The celebration fostered a sense of unity and cultural appreciation, leaving everyone with cherished memories of the festive gathering.

  • Career Counselling Session by Mr. Aadi:- A career counselling session was conducted for nine students from Classes 9 to 12 by Mr. Aadi. The session aimed to provide students with guidance on various career options, educational pathways, and skill development opportunities. Mr. Aadi shared valuable insights on different career streams, the importance of aligning career choices with individual interests and strengths, and the emerging trends in various industries. The students actively participated, asking relevant questions and seeking advice on their future aspirations. The session was highly beneficial in helping students gain clarity about their career goals and the steps needed to achieve them. The interactive discussion enabled them to make informed decisions about their academic and professional

  • Recreational Activities Conducted for Bhavan Chetna Vidyalaya Students: - A recreational activity session was organized for the students of Bhavan Chetna Vidyalaya, where they enthusiastically participated in various sports, including races and leg cricket. The event aimed to promote physical fitness, teamwork, and enjoyment among students. The students showcased great energy and competitive spirit during the races, demonstrating their speed and endurance. The game of leg cricket added an element of fun and strategy, encouraging coordination and collaboration. The activity not only provided a refreshing break from routine academics but also helped in enhancing their physical well-being. Overall, the session was a great success, fostering a sense of sportsmanship and camaraderie among students. More such activities will be planned to encourage active participation in sports and recreation.
