Bhavan Vidyalaya Panchkula is awarded as one of the five educational institutes (schools/colleges/universities) as ‘Super Champion’ by prestigious Royal Society of Chemistry. The school is recognised for this accolade for the outstanding commitment and enthusiastic participation for creating awareness on AMR (anti-microbial resistance)/Superbugs among the society. It was done by conducting an augmented work shop ‘FAST’ (fighting against Superbugs Together) at school in collaboration with the Royal Society of Chemistry. The students; Jai Verma (class VIII), Anika Tiwari (class VIII), Vivaan Aggarwal (class VIII), Aadi Bhardwaj (class XII) and Rohan Garg (class VIII) were recognised as ‘Super Champs’ for spreading awareness through their social media platforms. These students are awarded with certificated and goodie bags. The PGT Chemistry Ms Megha Bhardwaj is also awarded with a ‘Super Champ’ certificate and goodie bag for her dedication and commitment towards the social cause. The principal Mrs Gulshan Kaur congratulated all the super champs with their mentor and applauded them for spreading awareness by addressing this social issue.
