Bhavan Vidyalaya hosted the School Cinema International Film Festival (SCIFF) 2024 from August 20 to 31, 2024. The festival captivated students with films that seamlessly combined entertainment with education, fostering creativity, inquisitiveness, and a deeper understanding of global cultures.
Key benefits of SCIFF include preparing students for a visually driven world, developing 21st-century skills, and promoting global thinking. Students from HUB schools—Jainendra Public School, Moti Ram Arya School Chandigarh, Blue Bird High School Panchkula, and DAV Surajpur—also participated in the festival.
An evening show was organized for parents of Grade III, IV, and V students, featuring a curated selection of international films. Additionally, a special screening was held for the staff members of Bhavan Vidyalaya.
Principal Ms. Gulshan Kaur highlighted how SCIFF 2024 enriched the students'; educational journey by exposing them to diverse cultures and perspectives. She expressed pride in the students' enthusiasm and engagement throughout the festival and encouraged the continuation of such innovative educational initiatives.
