The much-awaited 7-day National Service Scheme (NSS) camp commenced at Bhavan Vidyalaya Panchkula with immense enthusiasm and a spirit of service. The opening ceremony began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp accompanied by the recitation of shlokas, creating an auspicious and inspiring atmosphere.
The inauguration was marked by vibrant cultural presentations by students, highlighting their artistic talents and celebrating India’s rich cultural heritage.
A significant moment of the ceremony was the handing over of the NSS flag by the Principal, Mrs. Gulshan Kaur. This symbolic gesture underscored the core values of the NSS program, emphasizing responsibility, dedication and service to the community.
Addressing the gathering, Principal Mrs. Gulshan Kaur formally declared the camp open. She inspired the participants by invoking the NSS motto, "Not Me But You," urging them to wholeheartedly embrace their duties towards society with commitment and enthusiasm.
