Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula organised ‘Aashirvachnam’ – a ceremony aimed to offer blessings to Class X students for their upcoming board exams and a bright future ahead, on Jan11, 2025 in the school auditorium.
The event commenced with the warm welcome of Class X students with an auspicious Tilak ceremony. This traditional gesture marked the beginning of the day’s festivities, setting a positive and respectful atmosphere. The celebration formally commenced with a prayer, followed by a soulful song performance by Mihika, a student known for her exceptional vocal talent. Her performance set the tone for the day, with the audience deeply appreciating her recital. The day was charged with captivating games, mesmerising dance performances and orchestral presentations, keeping the energy levels high and reinforcing the day’s theme of fun and camaraderie.

Students delivered heartfelt speeches, sharing insights and reflecting on their journey so far. They expressed immense gratitude towards the Principal and teachers for their mentorship and unwavering support.

Culminating the event, the Principal, Ms. Gulshan Kaur, addressed the gathering with her words of wisdom and encouraged the students with her valuable guidance as they prepare for their future challenges. Reiterating the sanctity of this vedic ritual, she offered her blessings to the students for intellectual growth and wisdom. She inspired the students to always move forward with a positive mindset and stressed on the power of words guiding them to choose the right ones.
