Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula, celebrated the 76 th Republic Day of India on January 26 th , 2025 with immense enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. The celebrations reflected the school’s dedication to fostering national pride and civic responsibility in students across all age groups.
The event began with the flag hoisting ceremony led by the esteemed Principal, Ms. Gulshan Kaur, followed by the national anthem sung by students and staff. Patriotic songs, presented by the Music Department, enhanced the spirit of unity. Students and staff then took the Voters’ Pledge, reaffirming their commitment to democratic values and active citizenship.
Primary Wing students participated in engaging activities, reciting patriotic rhymes and creating tricolour bookmarks and lotus crafts. The “Tricolour Tiffin” activity added creativity to their celebration as students brought tricolour-themed dishes. Teachers explained the contributions of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and the significance of Republic Day.
Middle Wing students showcased their patriotism through poster-making, slogan-writing competitions, and presentations on Republic Day. The “Tricolour Tiffin” activity further enriched the experience. Secondary Wing students delved into the values of the Constitution through presentations and discussions on responsible citizenship.
Selected students proudly represented the school at the Parade Ground, Sector 5, Panchkula. NCC cadets displayed discipline and commitment, while a group of talented dancers performed a mesmerizing patriotic dance performance, Steps of Unity (Ek Kadam Ekta Ki Aur), which received accolades from the audience. The event concluded with refreshments, leaving all inspired by the nation’s legacy.
