NSS Unit of Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula, observed Abhaar Divas on May 1, 2025 with deep gratitude and respect to acknowledge and recognise the invaluable contributions of the school’s support staff including helpers, cleaners and ayas.
NSS volunteers expressed their respect and appreciation by pinning badges to the support staff followed by engaging in heartfelt conversations, where they delved about knowing their daily routine and the challenges they face. This thoughtful interaction helped in instilling a deeper understanding of the dignity of labour and the importance of recognizing every role, regardless of its nature, with equal respect.
The school Principal Ms. Gulshan Kaur extended her sincere thanks to the support staff and applauded their dedication in maintaining a clean, safe and nurturing environment. She also encouraged students to remain empathetic, respectful and grateful towards all members of the community.
The celebration proved to be a meaningful initiative in cultivating a spirit of respect, empathy and social awareness among the students.
