A two-day workshop on "Critical and Creative Thinking" was hosted by the school under the aegis of CBSE on 3rd & 4th June 2025. A heterogeneous group of 60 teachers ranging from Foundation, Primary, Middle and Secondary attended the workshop. The aim of this workshop was to encourage innovation, analytical ability and creative thinking among students and teachers.
On this occasion, Shri S. P. Singh, Faculty, Department of Life Science, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan and Professor Neevi A. Kumar, Professor, Department of English, D.A.V. College, Chandigarh were present as the Resource Persons for the workshop. The school Principal Ms. Gulshan Kaur extended a warm welcome to the guests and the attendees. Both the scholars conducted the workshop as resource persons nominated by CBSE.

Various activities and interactive sessions were organised to develop creative and critical thinking, alternative solutions to problems, logical analysis and decision making abilities. Teachers participated enthusiastically and assimilated the ideas. During the workshop, the speakers also highlighted that teachers are the architects of students' lives. If a teacher's thinking is creative and critical, he will provide the same direction to his students. Therefore, teachers should also adopt these qualities themselves so that they can lead the students towards a prosperous future.

At the end of the workshop, Principal Ms. Gulshan Kaur, expressed her gratitude to both the speakers and teachers, she said that such workshops are very important for the all-round development of students and also inspire teachers to have creative and critical thinking approach in teaching.
