A cash prize of ₹20,908 from the District Education Officer, Panchkula was awarded to performers of Steps of Unity dance, a captivating blend of folk dances—Bihu, Tribal, Dandiya and Nati—symbolizing India’s unity in diversity.
This cash award was given by Smt. Shakti Rani Sharma, MLA Vidhan Sabha Kalka, in recognition of our students' mesmerizing cultural performance at the Republic Day celebrations held in the Parade Ground.

Under the mentorship of Ms. Prerna Joshi, Jannat Sachdev of Class X has made Bhavan Vidyalaya proud by securing 1st place in the Essay Writing Contest held in honour of the 100th Birth Anniversary of Padma Shri Late Sh. Nek Chand, the visionary behind Chandigarh’s Rock Garden.
Her thought-provoking essay in English earned her a cash prize of ₹2000 and an Award Certificate, recognizing her contribution to promoting environmental conservation and sustainable creativity, values deeply inspired by Nek Chand’s legacy.

Celebrating Young Poets!
Delighted to share that five of our talented students—Raghav (Class 5), Samridhi & Akshita (Class 10), Nikunj Khurana (8 C), and Gauransh Dewan (7 D)— self-written poems got published in the book "Kavyanjali".

The Department of Neurology at the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research ( PGIMER ) successfully hosted the 16th Regional Brain Bee Quiz on February 1, 2025, in collaboration with the Indian Brain Bee, International Brain Bee, and the Society for Neuroscience (SFN).

This prestigious competition, designed for Class 11 students, was a live question-and-answer contest that tests participants' knowledge of neuroscience. The Brain Bee Quiz is a three-tiered event, comprising regional, national, and international levels, where young scholars from around the world compete to demonstrate their expertise in various aspects of neuroscience.
Two students from Bhavan Vidyalaya Panchkula, Mansi Tiwari and Vrinda Salaria, both in the XI Medical Stream, had qualified for the regional level of the competition. Mansi Tiwari emerged as the first runner-up and will represent the region at the national level, to be held in Chandigarh in May 2025. Principal Mrs. Gulshan Kaur congratulated the students and Dr. Shobha Gupta, their mentor teacher, on this outstanding achievement.

🌟 Nikunj Khurana of class VIII-C won the 1st Prize 🏆 in the Punjabi Declamation Competition, organized by Bharat Vikas Parishad, Panchkula, on गुरु तेग बहादुर बलिदान दिवस. Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula Excels at Natyotsav
Students of Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula, secured the First Prize 🏆 at the One-Act Play Competition organized by Sambhang Theatre Group: Natyotsav at Punjab Kala Bhavan, Chandigarh today.
Nehal Khurana (Class XI-D) won the Best Actress Award.
Naman Yadav (Class XI-C) bagged the Best Actor Award.
The school also won the Runner’s Up Trophy 🏅.
The students performed 'महारथी', a play inspired by the life of Karna, a legendary character from the Mahabharata. The performance beautifully conveyed a message of dedication and determination while highlighting the social evil of caste-based discrimination.
This powerful act, directed by Mr. Kirandeep and Mr. Kalpit, with live music by Mr. Pankaj, captivated the audience and was a resounding success.

Under the guidance of Ms. Jagriti our talented students Nihal (UKG Garnet) and Mihika Mondal (Class 9) received the Appreciation Award for their outstanding performances at the prestigious S. D. Burman Nite: Safal Hogi Teri Araadhna, held on November 29 at Punjab Kala Bhavan.
Little Nihal captivated the audience with his soulful rendition of "O Re Majhi, Mere Saajan Hain Uss Paar," showcasing extraordinary musical talent at such a young age.
Mihika Mondal, performing in the senior category, delivered a mesmerizing rendition of "Piya Tose Naina Laage Re," beautifully paying tribute to the legendary S. D. Burman.

Cheshta Yadav Shines at Haryana State Roller Skating Championship 2024
Thrilled to share that Cheshta Yadav, a talented Class I Sundaram student, has made us proud by winning a Gold Medal in Race 1 and a Silver Medal in Race 2 at the Haryana State Roller Skating Championship 2024, held in Panchkula.

Delighted to share that, under the guidance of Ms. Purnima, our talented student Vanishree of Class 10 A has been honoured with a Trophy and a cash prize of ₹11,000 by the Yaadgare-e-Rafi Society, Chandigarh for her remarkable performance at the prestigious RAFI MEMORIAL NITE 2024.
The event commemorated the 100th birth anniversary of the legendary Mohd. Rafi, graced by the presence of Mr. Shahid Rafi, his son, as the Chief Guest.
Vanishree captivated the audience with her soulful rendition of the solo song "Aji Rooth Kar Ab Kahan Jaiyega..." and an enchanting duet performance.

Reyaansh malhotra of class 4 Satyam was the first runner up (second prize) in SIP abacus competition held at Punjab university, Chandigarh on 25th December. He has won a cash prize of Rs. 7000 along with trophy and going for the finals to be held in in Chennai.

INChO-2023-24(Indian National Chemistry Olympiad) Rachit Ahuja (class XII) brought laurels to the institute by winning gold medal in INChO- 2023-24(Indian National Chemistry Olympiad). He was selected amongst top 35 students across the nation and attended national level ‘Orientation cum selection’ camp held at Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education, Mumbai. Earlier Rachit made the institution proud by securing 100 percentiles in the subject of Chemistry in IIT-JEE mains session 1 exam and also secured 99.86 percentile as an overall JEE mains score.

Rachit Ahuja of class XII (session 2023-24) was felicitated in glittering ceremony held at New Delhi for his performance in Olympiads of various subjects. He received the Silver Zone Olympiad Topper Award 2023-24 for overall academic excellence and a cash prize of 7500/- for securing state rank 1, zonal rank 1 in level 2 of English Olympiad. He is also awarded with a medal, a certificate and a cash prize of rupees 2500/- for his exceptional performance and securing zonal rank 2 in SOF Maths Olympiad. Apart from this, he is also bestowed with medals for state rank 1 in Maths Olympiad and state rank 2 for science Olympiad. The Principal Mrs Gulshan Kaur congratulated the student.

Bhavanites Sweep Awards at Prestigious Inter-School Competition In a dazzling display of oratory prowess, students of Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula, stole the show at a highly competitive inter-school event held at St. Soldier's School, Sector-16, Panchkula on July 27, 2024.
