The Department of Neurology at the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research ( PGIMER ) successfully hosted the 16th Regional Brain Bee Quiz on February 1, 2025, in collaboration with the Indian Brain Bee, International Brain Bee, and the Society for Neuroscience (SFN).

This prestigious competition, designed for Class 11 students, was a live question-and-answer contest that tests participants' knowledge of neuroscience. The Brain Bee Quiz is a three-tiered event, comprising regional, national, and international levels, where young scholars from around the world compete to demonstrate their expertise in various aspects of neuroscience.
Two students from Bhavan Vidyalaya Panchkula, Mansi Tiwari and Vrinda Salaria, both in the XI Medical Stream, had qualified for the regional level of the competition. Mansi Tiwari emerged as the first runner-up and will represent the region at the national level, to be held in Chandigarh in May 2025. Principal Mrs. Gulshan Kaur congratulated the students and Dr. Shobha Gupta, their mentor teacher, on this outstanding achievement.

🌟 Nikunj Khurana of class VIII-C won the 1st Prize 🏆 in the Punjabi Declamation Competition, organized by Bharat Vikas Parishad, Panchkula, on गुरु तेग बहादुर बलिदान दिवस. Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula Excels at Natyotsav
Students of Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula, secured the First Prize 🏆 at the One-Act Play Competition organized by Sambhang Theatre Group: Natyotsav at Punjab Kala Bhavan, Chandigarh today.
Nehal Khurana (Class XI-D) won the Best Actress Award.
Naman Yadav (Class XI-C) bagged the Best Actor Award.
The school also won the Runner’s Up Trophy 🏅.
The students performed 'महारथी', a play inspired by the life of Karna, a legendary character from the Mahabharata. The performance beautifully conveyed a message of dedication and determination while highlighting the social evil of caste-based discrimination.
This powerful act, directed by Mr. Kirandeep and Mr. Kalpit, with live music by Mr. Pankaj, captivated the audience and was a resounding success.

Cheshta Yadav Shines at Haryana State Roller Skating Championship 2024
Thrilled to share that Cheshta Yadav, a talented Class I Sundaram student, has made us proud by winning a Gold Medal in Race 1 and a Silver Medal in Race 2 at the Haryana State Roller Skating Championship 2024, held in Panchkula.

Delighted to share that, under the guidance of Ms. Purnima, our talented student Vanishree of Class 10 A has been honoured with a Trophy and a cash prize of ₹11,000 by the Yaadgare-e-Rafi Society, Chandigarh for her remarkable performance at the prestigious RAFI MEMORIAL NITE 2024.
The event commemorated the 100th birth anniversary of the legendary Mohd. Rafi, graced by the presence of Mr. Shahid Rafi, his son, as the Chief Guest.
Vanishree captivated the audience with her soulful rendition of the solo song "Aji Rooth Kar Ab Kahan Jaiyega..." and an enchanting duet performance.

INChO-2023-24(Indian National Chemistry Olympiad) Rachit Ahuja (class XII) brought laurels to the institute by winning gold medal in INChO- 2023-24(Indian National Chemistry Olympiad). He was selected amongst top 35 students across the nation and attended national level ‘Orientation cum selection’ camp held at Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education, Mumbai. Earlier Rachit made the institution proud by securing 100 percentiles in the subject of Chemistry in IIT-JEE mains session 1 exam and also secured 99.86 percentile as an overall JEE mains score.

He received the Silver Zone Olympiad Topper Award 2023-24 for overall academic excellence and a cash prize of 7500/- for securing state rank 1, zonal rank 1 in level 2 of English Olympiad. He is also awarded with a medal, a certificate and a cash prize of rupees 2500/- for his exceptional performance and securing zonal rank 2 in SOF Maths Olympiad. 15th District Wushu Championship, held at St. Teresa Convent School, Sector 25, Panchkula, saw an extraordinary display of talent and determination by the students of Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula. Under the expert guidance of their coach, Mr. Sachin, 33 students from the school participated in the event and achieved remarkable success. Bhavanites Sweep Awards at Prestigious Inter-School Competition In a dazzling display of oratory prowess, students of Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula, stole the show at a highly competitive inter-school event held at St. Soldier's School, Sector-16, Panchkula on July 27, 2024. Nehal Khurana, a Class 11 whiz kid, took home the coveted FIRST PRIZE in the "Talk till you drop" category, leaving a trail of impressed judges and competitors in their wake! Meanwhile, Ishaan Pandita, a student of Class 7 bagged consolation prize in the "Eloquence" category.

In the Literary Fest organized by RIMT School, under the guidance of Ms. Shilpi and Ms. Anu, our students excelled in the following competitions:

Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula Excels in Hindi and Sanskrit Song Singing Competition!**
Our students made us proud on August 31, 2024 by achieving remarkable success at the Hindi and Sanskrit group song singing competition organized by Bharat Vikas Parishad at Arya Samaj, Sec 9, Panchkula. Under the expert guidance of Ms. Jagriti Sood, Mr. Pankaj, and Mr. Mukul, our Sanskrit group song team clinched 1st Prize , while the Hindi group song team earned 3rd Prize .

Bhavan Vidyalaya Shines at Murchhana Cultural Society's Event Under the expert guidance of Ms. Jagriti Sood, young Bhavanites Riyaan (Class 4D) and Radhya (Class 7E) showcased their exceptional singing talent in a Bollywood-themed monsoon song singing event organized by Murchhana Cultural Society. Their remarkable performances earned them well-deserved trophies and a cash prize of Rs. 500 each

Thrilled to share that Atharva Saxena, has made us proud and took the Bhavan's name on the international stage by securing an impressive 6th place in the world rankings at the 9th World Junior Wushu Championships, held in Brunei from September 22 to September 30. With participation from around 50 countries, this prestigious event showcased the exceptional talent and dedication of young athletes worldwide.

Under the expert guidance of Social Science Department and with the seamless coordination of Ms. Mehak Anjum in Round 1 held at school, Bhavan Vidyalaya's Junior and Senior teams both secured 3rd place in the Bharat Ko Jano Quiz organized by Bharat Vikas Parishad on 18th October, 2024.
In the Junior category, the team comprised Nikunj Khurana (Class 8 Sundaram) and Yogit Goyal (Class 7 Satyam). The Senior team included Nehal Khurana (Class XI D) and Yashdeep (Class XII D).
